This work addresses the consequences of urban living, overconsumption, and environmental degradation, while reflecting on our interconnectedness with other species and among ourselves.
It also serves as a humorous meditation on my experience as an immigrant living in New York for 7 years, the relationship the city has with its’ trash, and the longing for connection with Entre Ríos, a place were I grew up.
The digital video is a 8:39 min moving collage which combines found footage from New York, USA, with my own footage from Entre Ríos, Argentina.
